thrift

Uncategorized November 24th, 2008

THRIFT, the power to save, which means self-restraint, is mainly important, not because it means wealth in the end, not because it enables you to make others work while you watch or play, but because it gives you peace of mind. Without peace of mind no one can do his best work or lead a life really worth while.

carpe diem

Uncategorized November 10th, 2008

The key to a great life seems rather simple. Enjoy your family, friends and the fruit of your work right where you are at this moment. Make serving and loving God your top priority. Make plans, but stop living in the future. Celebrate today because there are no guarantees that tomorrow will come.

Carpe Diem. Seize the day.

13 minutes, 0 points, and 1 sprained foot

Uncategorized October 29th, 2008

Anong nangyari? Ayon, na-injured si #52. I was expecting an instant classic, Oden versus Bynum. Wala, hindi nangyari, dahil na-injured agad early in the game ang #1 draft pick ng 2007.
Anong nangyari?

Final score: Lakers 96, Blazers 76

Oden:  13 minutes, 0 points, and 1 sprained foot

the financial collapse of Wall Street

Uncategorized September 24th, 2008

The financial collapse of Wall Street is the fiscal consequence of the economic philosophy that now governs America — that markets are always good and government is always bad. But it is also the moral consequence of greed, where private profit prevails over the concept of the common good. The American economy is often rooted in unbridled materialism, a culture that continues to extol greed, a false standard of values that puts short-term profits over societal health, and a distorted calculus that measures human worth by personal income instead of character, integrity, and generosity.

balikbayan box

Uncategorized September 19th, 2008

I am bored.  I am in the office.  I’m done with my tasks for today.

My song of the day:  Balikbayan Box ng Eraserheads.  I am listening to it on repeat mode.  Ayos na ayos.  Nakaka-relax.

Cute.  He is a star.  I love him so much.  I love mommy so much too.  I love both of them so much.  I always thank God that I have them in my life.

I call it the Saint Peter song.

It’s Friday.  Yehey!  I am thinking about renting a movie tonight. Mukhang interesting ang The Bucket List (Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson).

Currently showing in theaters ang Burn After Reading ng Coen Brothers.

Until next time.

Nasaan na kaya yun?

Uncategorized September 10th, 2008

9/11 na bukas. It’s been seven years since the WTC attacks. May sakit yun eh.
It’s football season right now.
Ano ang pinakinggan ninyo kanina on your way to work? Ako Beatles.
Pinapanood nyo ba ang Travel channel? I’ve been watching it lately.
Later!

Walang preno.  Tuloy-tuloy!

Mag-bike na lang kaya ako.  Bikol Express?  Haha!
